iHealth is a consumer price-transparency tool. Estimates are built from public hospital price files and the benefit numbers you optionally enter. We store no personal health information (PHI).

We do not connect to clearinghouses. Benefit numbers you type are used to compute an out-of-pocket estimate for your current session and are not tied to your medical records. Anonymous, non-PHI product analytics (which procedures are searched, in which market) help us improve coverage.

Saved searches and price alerts store only the search parameters and an email you provide, so we can notify you when a price changes. You can delete these at any time by contacting us.

When patient-authorized payer FHIR APIs become available (mandated by Jan 1, 2027 under CMS-0057-F), any eligibility data will live in a separate, access-controlled system and be used only with your consent.
